As the Assistant Marketing Manager, I strategized and coordinated new client pitches with sales representatives, wrote copy for quarterly direct mail pieces as well as all email communications, led a website redesign positioning the company as a thought leader in the printing industry, and launched Facebook and Twitter accounts for the firm.
MMPI is the world’s leading owner and operator of showroom buildings and trade show facilities, bringing buyers and sellers together in more than 300 market events, trade and consumer shows and conferences each year. As a Marketing Intern for the Chicago Market home and gift trade shows, I worked to promote the market to attendees through online and direct marketing campaigns with the objective of increasing market attendance, wrote mass marketing communication materials on behalf of the marketing, sales and leasing teams, managed Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages as well executed a Twitter campaign and raffle during market and coordinated marketing sponsorships including first floor displays, cafe sponsorships and networking events.
